Vincent Diqing Yu

Vincent’s professional journey includes working at King & Wood Mallesons, a leading firm in the Asia-Oceania region specializing in IP and technology law. He served as the Global IP Counsel at General Motors for three and a half years, overseeing all IP matters, particularly licensing deals and R&D projects. He also worked at Kobre & Kim, a US firm focusing on cross-border IP and technology disputes.

Vincent’s expertise spans IP application, enforcement, and consulting across various industries. In recent years, he has been particularly involved in the global e-commerce and software industry, helping numerous clients succeed in these areas.

Vincent is qualified for the PRC Bar in China, the NY Bar in the US, and the Patent Bar in China.

Vincent holds a JD from Vanderbilt University Law School in Nashville, Tennessee, and an LLB from East China University of Political Science and Law in Shanghai, China. He also has a Bachelor of Computer Science from Zhejiang University and is currently pursuing a Master of Computer Science degree from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Beyond his legal expertise, Vincent is a skilled website designer and avid front-end developer. His passion for technology and design further enriches the firm’s offerings.
